1、Hydrophobic Test

2. Burning Test 

By burning the clear car wrap, observe if black smoke or pungent odors appear to identify genuine vs. fake TPU and high-quality TPU materials. 

Test results: When the clear car wrap was burned, there was no black smoke and no strong smell. After burning, it turned a burnt yellow color with a slightly sticky texture, proving it’s a high-quality TPU clear car wrap.

3. Scratch Repair Test

6. Scratch Resistance Test
The core function of a clear car wrap is to protect the original car paint, and scratch resistance is key. Genuine TPU wraps have high toughness and strong scratch resistance. We used small stones to scrape the hood to simulate daily scratches and test if the paint would be damaged.

Test results: After scraping with small stones and peeling off the clear car wrap, the original paint showed no damage.
